Free the Group Mind
Following on from last year’s “Zen of Customers” presentation, this session looks to introduce a range of tools for innovation and idea creation in a group context. How often have you been in a workshop where, despite a load of frantic activity and a shower of sticky notes, it is the familiar voices in the room that dominate? You end up with the same people with their ideas on the list.
Part of the challenge of a group think exercise is to ensure that you don’t miss the inspired voice lost in the back ground.
Through this practical session we will open the door to some of the techniques from the Liberating Structures world and how you can use them to engage an audience for a group think, or to shake up a career planning session at review time. We will also explore tools that you can use to quickly challenge, drill down and validate an idea.
• Introduce the Liberating Structures toolkit
• Explore the practical application of some techniques
• How to chain techniques together for maximum effect
