Practical, Pragmatic, Value Focused Business Analysis
David Jacobs is an exponent of practical, pragmatic business analysis. In this webinar David presents ideas and tips on conducting a career as a BA and being an effective translator between Business and IT. Relating examples and anecdotes of good and bad practice from his own experiences, David draws on the Business Value Maximisation Framework (BVMF)TM he has developed to enhance business/IT methods that, in his view, have lacked some ability to focus on the finer points of Business-IT mediation and value maximisation for stakeholders.
David Jacobs is in the 5th decade of his career. David has presented on ‘maximising business value’ to the British Computer Society’s Project Management Group (BCS PROMS-G), the National Computing Centre’s senior members group (NCC) and the Association of Project Managers (APM) East of England branch amongst other bodies including the Post Office’s Business Analysis team. David is known for being entertaining as much as insightful and informative.
