From Dental Nurse to BA, an unplanned Journey
When she left school, Rita knew that she did not want to end up in an office job and working in IT never entered her head. That was a lifetime ago and since then Rita has worked as a dental nurse, got married and lived in five different countries before going to University to gain a degree in Information Systems (IS). Rita will share her BA journey via several deviations, how her life has influenced her BA work, how it isn’t just an ‘office-job’ and how it is nowhere near what she believed working in IT would be like.
Rita Arafa started work as a BA in the IT sector relatively late and arriving there wasn’t part of a planned career path. Now with 25 years’ experience working as a Senior BA and Manager in the IT arena, her talk will give an insight to her journey to get there.
