North Highland's BA Community is part of Managed Services, set up by a group of our Directors who knew that our clients wanted something different when it came to Business Analysis. These clients loved working with our consultants but wanted a longer-term solution, where their BAs became real experts in their field, developed tight communities and were highly effective in their work. Lead Business Analyst
Our Lead Business Analysts play an Account Lead role at client site, through managing the team and building relationships with our senior stakeholders. They do all of this alongside performing a delivery role working on some of our more complex and large scale projects, phew! The role has a big emphasis on task managing and performance managing people so you really do have to be an expert in Business Analysis. It also includes:

• Direct line management and task management at client site for varying team sizes
• Managing the performance of up to five of our people through effective objective setting and conducting engagement reviews
• Coaching and mentoring of Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts at client site
• Development and delivery of appropriate training
• Working on business cases, feasibility studies and vendor selection
• Eliciting, reviewing, defining and documenting business requirements
• Facilitating workshops to elicit and prioritise requirements
• Documenting the 'as-is' and 'to be' business processes
• Assisting with User Acceptance Testing
• Project management activities and post project reviews
• Client development responsibilities through identifying new opportunities
• Regular service level review with senior stakeholders

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for people with extensive Business Analysis skills across a variety of sectors, methodologies and techniques but we also only recruit people who are open, collaborative and who echo our values. You will also have most of the following:

• Extensive experience in Business Analyst roles and an expert in business analysis methods/techniques
• Experience of planning and management of analysis activity and leading teams through delivery
• Management, coaching and mentoring experience (including performance management)
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in building successful senior stakeholder relationships
• Thorough awareness of a variety of IT software development methods
• Bachelor's degree or BCS/IIBA BA qualification
