Job Description

We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our growing team. You will be required to develop a full understanding of our clients’ products, and be able to communicate effectively with our technical team and our stakeholders. You will be working on rebuilding two key web platforms for a major global media publisher. It’s an exciting opportunity to join a team with the heart of a technology startup working on enterprise client projects. You will have a proven ability in requirements gathering and writing specifications, and be able to deliver reports and analysis within agreed timescales.

You will have a strong business analysis and relationship management background with experience in delivering web, mobile or multichannel projects in an Agile (Scrum) environment. You will have an understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), mapping user stories, writing useful change requests and managing product backlogs.

This role is based with the rest of the team in our London Fleet Street office.

Responsibilities

• Providing analysis support throughout the lifecycle of a project to ensure that business requirements are delivered appropriately
• Working closely with our technical team to ensure that business requirements are accurately converted into technical solutions
• Sharing experience of specific projects to enhance team knowledge and performance as a whole
• Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

• Experience as an analyst in a project / programme in a PRINCE2 (or similar) environment
• Appropriate analysis training (TOGAF,BCS/ISEB, IIBA certification, etc) Strong people and communication skills at all levels, this must include strong writing skills
• Ability to focus on detail, with the ability to deliver and present accurate and quality-driven documentation
• Ability to work in a flexible environment, where a range of styles of analysis and project delivery can occur

Desirable

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or relevant experience commensurate to a bachelor’s
• Experience in Media/Publishing sector
