Role Description

As a Business Consultant at Capco, you will be playing a key role in the delivery of projects, working on client site to deliver change initiatives for leading clients. You will be required to understand the client business model, analyse challenges and help arrive at innovative solutions to overcome their business problems.

AS PART OF THE CONSULTING TEAM AT CAPCO, THE BUSINESS CONSULTANT WILL

  • Work collaboratively with a range of different business areas and functions with varying seniority levels of client stakeholders
  • Provide specialist advice and expertise to clients to help drive pro-active decisions and enable tangible progress aligned to the client’s overall strategic goals and vision
  • Collaborate across various business units within client organisations
  • Drive transformation efforts across clients that may include customer journey transformation, product management and scaled Agile
  • Demonstrate expertise in leading business process analysis/design, organizational analysis, needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align solutions with business strategies and direction
  • Facilitate workshops to assess change impacts, by conducting impact analysis and other change management assessments
  • Produce high-quality outputs consisting of in-depth data analysis and digestible MI to allow for a clear message to be communicated
  • Develop innovative solutions in response to client needs and communicate technical elements in a carefully distilled and explainable approach to a senior audience

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Consulting with an external consulting firm or in an internal consultancy capacity
  • Experience in a project environment conducting Business Analysis, Project Management and/or Change Management activities
  • Knowledge of Financial Services and Capital Markets is preferable, but not essential
  • Proven track record of high-quality successful delivery across the project lifecycle
  • Effective and flexible communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management complemented by a proven ability to run effective workshops for client business users
  • Exposure to different methodologies and approaches (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall) is a plus
