The development of business analysis over the last two decades has been punctuated by step changes that have extended its focus and scope. There is much talk of the latest wave of computing and the resultant transformation this has brought, but equally the same concept might be applied to business analysis itself. In this presentation, Debra Paul considers the latest era of business analysis and the challenges this will present to practising business analysts now and in the future.

About the speaker

Debbie Paul FBCS CITP is the Managing Director of Assist Knowledge Development, a training and consultancy company specialising in business analysis, business change and solution development. She has extensive experience in all aspects of business analysis and business process improvement. Debbie jointly edited and wrote the best-selling BCS publication, Business Analysis, and is also the co-author of the BCS publications Business Analysis Techniques and The Human Touch. Debbie is the BCS Chief Examiner for Business Analysis and is an accredited SFIA consultant. Debbie is a regular speaker at business seminars and is a founder member of the BA Manager Forum.
