Ever fancied entering the Business Analyst of the Year challenge and finding out if you have what it takes. But aren’t sure how to get started. Well, this could be just the thing for you.
A short presentation and open discussion hosted by a couple of our Scotland Branch volunteers, who have both been through the process with great success.
Linda Parker - a finalist in 2018 and winner in 2019, and Sean Murphy a finalist in 2020.
Please come along to find out how the application works and to ask questions.
Bio for Linda:
With over 30 years of experience as a Business Analyst, across a variety of organisations both commercial and public sector, Linda has a wealth of experience.
She was the winner of European Business Analyst of the Year in 2019 and has used this win to benefit other BAs by launching BALIFE. She, of course, still volunteers for IIBA and has done for many years.
Currently, as a contractor, Linda works at Lloyds Banking Group and when she isn't busy working on BALIFE2022 she mentors other BAs, runs half-marathons and has fun with her hubby and two dogs.
Bio for Sean:
Currently an Analysis Manager at Royal London, Sean has spent many years within the BA world with a focus in the Financial sector. He was a finalist in the European Business Analyst of the Year in 2020 and has since become a volunteer for the IIBA.
Sean has a particular interest in new trends and ways in which the BA role can be expanded and diversified in the modern world. Outside of his working life, Sean spends most of his time either on the golf course or behind a set of DJ decks.
