The final session in the IIBA UK Series framed by the 3 Laws of Engagement© to flip top-down, vague narrative and %'s into bottom-up, practical steps with empirical data. Goggles on and strap yourself in! Martin Johnson will take us on a deep-dive of the last two of the twelve Practices of Engagement© for you to practically improve your Engagement Coefficient (Ɛ), Collaboration Velocity (Cv) and Productivity (ρ) featuring in the 3 Laws respectively:
NEEDLE FLICKERING - Time is a finite resource, particularly at work where you have two people or more of you coming together for some form of conversation, meeting or workshop. This is a consideration of how we use that time and how it ebbs and flows. How is the discussion that we are a part of going to help us deliver measured and lasting and measured business change?
STAY CLOSE - The value you create in the time you spend in the same space as your colleagues is followed up with even more time apart! Including those days when other tasks become the priority and you’re not able to continue the agreed work. How do you create the conditions in which successful change is achieved in a sustainable way? Once you have it within your grasp don't let it slip!
Your take-away will be a series of new ideas, connections and references to progress your personal development against IIBA and CIPD competency frameworks. All delivered at tempo with activities to maximise interaction, increase engagement and independent thinking. Some fun too!
Martin Johnson @YourBigPic is passionate about colleagues being a voice in the organisation. So much so that he has developed a product to do just that, BIG PICTURE®, to help colleagues join their dots at work. Martin specialises in providing a simple and reasonable framework that pretty much anyone in your organisation can get involved with. When it comes to a blend of Strategy, Change, Performance, Teamwork, Learning and Performance YourBigPic puts the colleague at the centre to resolve what we call Wicked Challenges©.
As an attendee of the event you will receive an invite to become a Fellow of the Laws of Engagement© (LinkedIn Group & Community of Practice). This is a fabulous once in a lifetime chance to become a contributor to the book containing the Laws and Practices of Engagement©.
