Session 1: What Does(n’t) a BA do?

A view on what are the expectations of a BA, from a BA who's been around the block a few times. Taking a look at the wide variety of roles/tasks and activities you may experience as a BA and what you may want to consider for the near future.

Take away: A better understanding of some of the key skills required for a BA to succeed in a variety of different areas, with some suggestions as to future skills that you may want to consider. 

About the speaker: Gareth Dick

Gareth is a Business Analyst Associate Manager, coming up to 10 years with Accenture. He has a wealth of experience from Dev, Test, Delivery and Business Analysis having worked across Waterfall monolithic application development to Agile delivery, Robotic process automations and customer centric designs. 

 

Session 2: Strategy Analysis

How can we support clients through a significant shift in their customer engagement strategy? Follow the journey we have taken with a H&PS client from initial strategy analysis, through defining as-is and to-be states and the challenges of managing multiple stakeholders.   

Take away: As a deep dive into Strategy Analysis, showcasing some of the key skills and techniques required to help define and shape your client's business strategy.

Verity joined Accenture in May 2017 and has predominantly worked with H&PS clients. She is currently an Enterprise Architect and is supporting one of our clients with a major customer engagement transformation programme.
