Creative Problem Solving - Divergent & Convergent Thinking (applied to the domain of machine learning)

We are trialling a series of 3 events on the topic of creative problem solving in central London. Each event will involve an overview of key creative problem solving techniques, and the opportunity to apply the skills as a group to an interesting problem domain. This is an ideal learning opportunity, with a focus on participation as an aid to learning. Each event is self-contained, so participants can attend a single event, or multiple. This is the first event, on 10th November at All Bar One, Houndsditch.

Divergent & Convergent Thinking

Problem domain: machine learning is becoming much prevalent in our environment, in both domestic applications and in the commercial world. Yet we hear nothing about the role of business analysis in determining where and how such systems are deployed and evolve. Is there a role for business analysis in this context, and how would a business analyst demonstrate their value?
