Terry Baresh has been practicing business analyst professionally since 2007 bringing seasoned experience in IT security, network administration, manufacturing operations, people leadership, and project management. He is currently serving as a member of a strategic advisory team leading an effort to build out and mature a cybersecurity organization for a mid-sized financial firm in the US. Previously he worked in the role of business analyst for a top ten utilities company building out their cybersecurity organization, adding capabilities, and rolling out cybersecurity services across their business units, infrastructure, nuclear, and operational technologies. While working at Delta Airlines, he was engaged as a business analyst on several information and cybersecurity projects including advanced perimeter network designs, an upgrade to POS chip-and-PIN technologies, and certificate and key management solutions.
Shirley J. Sartin, PBA, BSAC, CBAP, PMP, CSM, ITIL4 (BSBA MIS, MS CIS, MISM) has career experience in Information Systems (IS)/Information Technology (IT) which have encompassed roles in requirements architect, management/supervision/team lead, project management, systems analysis, business analysis/product owner, programming analysis, systems administration, operations administration, technical training, and university education.
Skilled in all aspects of IS/IT and specializing in management, project management, and business/systems analysis Shirley effectively interfaces with business and technical customers in all aspects of a Requirements Management Life Cycle (RMLC), Project Life Cycle (PLC), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Requirements Center of Excellence (RCoE) while maintaining a focus on empathizing, appreciating, and championing the needs of the end-user.
Kevin Haines is passionate about using technology to enable business. He has over 20 years of experience in a variety of industries. Kevin is a Program Director and Principal Consultant for Online Business Systems, President of the IIBA Winnipeg Chapter, College Instructor, a Career Mentor and leads teams that improve process and technology to achieve business goals. Kevin enjoys speaking at industry events such as IIBA Leadership Webinars, Professional Development Days, Building Business Capability and BA World (Winnipeg, Orlando and Toronto). Kevin has degrees in Philosophy, Psychology, Finance and MIS from the Asper School of Business. His certifications include Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Management of Risk, PROSCI Org Change Management and PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Bindu Channaveerappa, Business Analysis Consultant, International Speaker and Director of IIBA UK London Communities. Bindu comes with 15 years of experience in Business Analysis and is qualified from IIBA and BCS. Recognising the need for Cybersecurity analysis, Bindu proactively studied Security Management and since has become a keen advocate to make Cybersecurity inclusive within the mainstream business analysis. She is part of the IIBA’s Cybersecurity Certification team authoring the IIBA Cybersecurity Certification curriculum and the exam questions. Bindu also has taken this imperative message to several countries and delivering speeches and workshops at various Business Analysis and Cybersecurity conferences.
