The Invisible Hand - Business Analysis in an Agile Environment

More and more, the value of the Business Analysis discipline is being recognised in the context of many Agile frameworks and methodologies. Strange then, that for many of these disciplines, the “role” of Business Analyst is absent from the textbook definitions. Within this webinar, John Keil will utilise his experiences from recent projects to discuss and illustrate his take on what the role of the Business Analyst in an Agile environment can be. The session will focus on the some of the practical activities and challenges that a Business Analyst could face, and from the case study how they were addressed. Participants will be shown some of the tools and approaches taken that delivered a project that was considered a success by all involved parties. This talk will provoke thoughts around different obstacles and provide you with examples of how they were overcome.

John Keil is a well-respected business analyst with many years of business analysis experience. John came from an education background, and within his change career, has worked across telecoms, energy and financial segments, and in complex environments. John has also been active within BCS – The Chartered Institute for IT, and has a passion for sharing his experiences with others.
