Interactive Session - Agile Discovery

The business want to know if a project or an idea is worth effort before we embark... a sensible question! But with limited availability from stakeholders, a slow turn around on requests and a lack of clarity on direction... these can lead to the 'discovery phase' taking a long time, and costing a lot itself. Can the Discovery phase be delivered in an Agile way? Join Tim on an interactive session where we will investigate this question. Tim genuinely doesn't have the answer on this but does have a couple of ideas so is looking to the room to help run an 'agile discovery session' on the discovery phase itself.

As a group can we provide an answer to this conundrum?

Entering Agile Leadership 12 years ago from a project management background, Tim Hockham has helped organisations with Agile transformation in Data Telematics, Broadcast Engineering, Financial Services and most recently in the Automotive Industry. Tim has been fortunate enough to work across the world delivering high quality products and developing teams. He's a firm believer in full organisational agility and that teams will deliver high quality products given the right environment and steer, regardless of any challenges met along the way.

Location

It’s recommended to use public transport in Manchester.  It’s an 11-minute walk from St Peter’s Square (Central Library) Metrolink stop or an 18-minute walk from Piccadilly railway station.

Parking

If you intend driving to the event, Blackfriars St (off Deansgate) or King St West are the nearest multi storey car parks, but they are expensive.
