Service Delivery Manager, North Highland Managed Services

Location: London/Slough
Salary: Competitive + benefits + share awards

BA the best with us!
We are an elite group of specialist Business Analysts (BAs) who live and breathe everything BA! North Highland's BA Community is part of Managed Services, set up by a group of our Directors who knew that our clients wanted something different when it came to Business Analysis. These clients loved working with our consultants but wanted a longer-term solution, where their BAs became real experts in their field, developed tight communities and were highly effective in their work. North Highland Managed Services was born!

Managed Services is a specialist division of North Highland and provides clever and effective solutions to clients across some of the UK's largest financial services, retail, media, entertainment and communications companies as well as clients in the US. We have exceptional people who deliver top notch work but are also passionate about developing our clients' capability through training, sharing knowledge, best practice and staying hot on the heels of all the latest BA trends. Good news all round!

Service Delivery Manager
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is at the heart of each of our teams, looking after our people and managing our client relationship. On a day to day basis this means lots of senior stakeholder relationship management, management of our team and lots of other Account Management responsibilities. It also includes:

  • Being the main point of contact for both the client and the Managed Services team on client site for all issues including people welfare
  • Managing large teams, size ranging from a few to up to about 30
  • Implementing and running an effective account management structure including putting a framework in place to monitor our service level agreement
  • Managing the performance of the team through effective objective setting and conducting engagement reviews
  • Leading the development and delivery of appropriate training to the client team
  • Working with the team and client managers to drive team and community activities to build relationships and share knowledge
  • Ensuring that our unique quality framework is adhered to at client site
  • Working with the client managers and senior team to identify further opportunities to support the client
  • Overall responsibility for interviewing, induction and on-boarding of new joiners to the account

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for people with a Lead Business Analyst, Business Analyst Manager, Project Manager or Relationship Manager background but we also only recruit people who are open, collaborative and who echo our values. We rotate our SDMs on to different clients every 1-3 years for added variety so it's really important that you are adaptable. You will also have some or all of the following:

  • Experience of working in a software development or IT projects environment
  • Experience working in dynamic and frequently changing environments
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Management, coaching and mentoring experience
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work

North Highland is changing the way the world thinks about professional services, one client at a time! Our roots are in Atlanta in the US, but we have offices all over the US, in the UK and China too – each with their own personalities. We don't like to boast, but we know our people are pretty great, they are a collaborative, entrepreneurial and intelligent mix of people that genuinely enjoy working here. We work with a large range of internationally recognised clients from all over the world on tough business challenges and value doing the right thing. Always.

North Highland is committed to diversity in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer of people (only!) strictly no pets.
